The Hospitality Day at the Capitol and the "A Tasteful Affair" Legislative Reception events are members-only events. OHLA and OTIA members, please register as Guests and select what association you are with when registering. 

Online registration closes by end of the day on Friday, April 21. If you'd still like to register passed Friday, please call Audra at the ORA Office at 405-942-8181 and we will register you over the phone. 

The hospitality industry is the driving force in Oklahoma’s economy, generating enormous tax revenues, providing jobs for hundreds of thousands of Oklahomans, and giving time and money back to their communities. At the same time, it’s vital that we maintain good relations with legislators so that our perspective on various bills and issues is given thoughtful consideration.

On April 25, 2023 members of the Oklahoma Restaurant Association, Oklahoma Hotel & Lodging Association, and Oklahoma Travel Industry Association will join forces for Hospitality Day at the Capitol, a members-only event where we will spend time speaking to legislators about issues facing our industry. 

Then members will mingle with more than 500 members and legislators while we do what we do best - show these leaders Oklahoma hospitality! - at a bigger and better-than-ever “A Tasteful Affair” Legislative Reception. "A Tasteful Affair" will feature more than 20 of Oklahoma’s finest restaurants showcasing their culinary tastings at what is heralded as the state’s most successful and best attended legislative reception.

*Due to the nature of the event, no one under 21 allowed at the Legislative Reception.

To be held at Oklahoma State Capitol, 2300 N. Lincoln Blvd., OKC, OK 73105
1:30 p.m. Member Briefing & Legislator Q&A Session - Room 535
- Members will enter the Capitol building at the Visitor's Entrance on the South side of the building. From there, an ORA staff member will direct you to the Member Briefing located in Room 535. Members will be briefed on legislative issues and take part in a Q&A session with a few legislators.
3:00 p.m. Hospitality Day at the Capitol
- Member will visit with their Representatives and Senators, discussing the issues reviewed in the Member Briefing.

 “A Tasteful Affair” Legislative Reception ($75/ticket)
During the largest and best-attended legislative reception in the state, members have the opportunity to establish new relationships and strengthen existing ties while connecting on important issues. Join us and take advantage of the opportunity to gain access to some of Oklahoma's most influential policymakers while enjoying culinary tastings of Oklahoma’s best restaurants and Oklahoma craft beers! 

Due to the nature of the legislative reception, no one under the age of 21 will be allowed to attend.
