ORA Annual Member Meeting & Board of Directors Meeting
The Oklahoma Restaurant Association's Annual Meeting be held virtually at 10:00 am on February 10, 2021, allowing members from across the state of Oklahoma to participate and learn more about the state of Oklahoma's restaurant industry. The event’s key elements include the association's Annual Meeting followed by our Board of Directors Meeting and introduction of the 2021 ORA Board of Directors and Officers.
Our special guest presenter is Mike Whatley, Vice President, State & Local Affairs of the National Restaurant Association who will share the latest news from the restaurant industry's national perspective. In Mike's role with the NRA, he advocates on behalf of the restaurant industry throughout the country. Before joining the Association, he worked for the House of Representatives Oversight and Government Reform Committee. He is a graduate of Claremont McKenna College in Claremont, Calif. He recently received his MBA from Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business.
We encourage you to join us for this virtual event to help lead Oklahoma's restaurant industry to recovery and success in 2021. There is no cost to participate, however, registration is required.
Please note, the ORA Hospitality Day at the Capitol and “A Tasteful Affair” Legislative Reception will not be held in conjunction with this meeting, and will now be held on Wednesday, April 14, 2021, at the Oklahoma History Center just one mile northeast of the State Capitol Building. More details about the reception will be announced and posted on our website soon.
